Covid Testing

CADI follows the guidance of SDP and PDPH around covid protocols.  For up-to-date information from SDP please reference the COVID-19 Information Hub here.

Additionally, CADI currently has two Covid testing programs in place to help ensure the safety of our community. We have weekly PCR testing on Wednesdays and Rapid-Antigen tests with results in 15 minutes available every day. Students may opt into one or both programs for free. Both require consent forms and further details about each program is below.

Weekly PCR Testing

This testing is made available to us through Operation Expanded Testing a federally funded program providing free testing for schools and community centers. This is required for all staff and any students participating in our special grant programs. Students 18 or over may opt-in themselves while students under 18 must have permission from a guardian. This test requires an individual to do 2 nasal swabs (5 swirls in each nostril) and is sent out to a lab on Wednesdays with results available through Concentric by Ginkgo’s portal within 24 hours. To sign-up for weekly testing, please contact CADI for further instructions.

Rapid-Antigen Testing

This is a test made available to us through CHOP’s Ace-It program. Students 18 or over may opt-in themselves while students under 18 must have permission from a guardian. Once permission is granted, students will register for a QR code that will be kept on file at the school and that can be used any time a test is requested without having to re-register. This test requires an individual to do a single nasal swab (10 swirls in each nostril) and results are provided within 15 minutes. An official testing report is sent by email and text provided during registration within 2 hours of the reporting of the test.
