Our Founder and Executive Director, Ben Lattimore designed the model for Career & Academic Development Institute (CADI) as an accelerated, alternative high school located in Philadelphia, PA and contracted by the School District of Philadelphia.
The school was developed as a cooperative effort with OIC of America, a non-profit organization founded by the late Rev. Leon Sullivan, designated to serve the community with the mantra of “Helping people help themselves.” OIC CADI first opened its doors on September 7, 2004.
The school provides transitional services both academic and developmental to students with diverse backgrounds from underserved communities.
