Julie is following her lifelong dream of teaching, which she began at the age of fifteen teaching young children to swim at the YWCA. She believes that having high expectations for students will help them believe that they can achieve anything they desire in life. She tries to model curiosity and perseverance in tackling problems in and out of the classroom. One of the best lessons for our students is to learn to advocate for themselves, to teach them to have a voice when they need help with a math problem or a life situation. Among her great joys in life is to see a former student and find out how high they have soared.

Julie has an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Delaware County Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from West Chester University. Born in Philadelphia Julie was raised and lives in Delaware County.
